Keikaku V2
Overview
Keikaku -- the Japanese word for plan and schedule. Keikaku aligns athletes and coaches from day to day activities to season long goals. Keikaku is designed by athletes for athletes.
Background
After some user testing with athletes and coaches I found that there are
two main concerns from both users. Coaches would like to be able to communicate
practice/periodization plans to their athletes and ensure all their athletes will
have appropriate training partners.
For athletes they would like to have a calendar overview of their training schedule
and they would like to be able to directly request training partners for practice.
Objective
This is the second phase of development of Keikaku. The initial inception of Keikaku was created during my undergrad. This phase involves a UI/UX revamp and more user testing.

Developmemt
With the feedback I collected in mind the new UI/UX mockups have a greater focus on the presentation of practice/periodization plans through the home page, the dashboard and the calendar page. Additonally, Ive added a page dedicated to help athltes find partners for their upcoming workouts as this is a big concern for athletes in combat or team sports.
Home Page
The home page gives the user a daily outlook, what information is perdianent to that day. The dashboard allows the user to see previous and future workout plans and the contact coaches feature within the dashboard allows users to communicate with their coaches.
Calendar
The calendar page displays the phases of training by color coordinating the days. Where
green can be set to 'building phase', yellow as 'tapering phase' and red as 'competition phase'.
Here athletes and coaches can gain clarity on training expectations at a glance.
Partner Page
The partner page allows users to be able to request and confirm training partners for workout sessions. In the world of wrestling this is a common pain point for coaches and athletes. Finding a appropriate partner of the same size and skill level can be made easy.
