Keikaku
Overview

Keikaku -- the Japanese word for plan and schedule. Keikaku aligns athltes and coaches from day to day activities to season long goals. Keikaku is designed by athltes for athletes.

Background

Athletes at all levels often struggle to stay organized with practice plans, schedules, and periodization cycles. They might not receive or review practice details and may not know their team's current training phase. In club or high school teams, athletes often ask coaches or teammates who's attending practice, while coaches struggle to track attendance. Practice plans and periodization schedules shared in group chats are easily lost, leading to repeated questions about daily practices.

Objective

Keikaku aims to simplify athletes busy schedule. The app takes practice schedules from coaches and organizes them for athletes. Kaikaku allows athltes to get daily overviews of their training day, practice and weightlifting plans, the ability to request practice partners and so much more.

MVP -- React, JS

Developmemt

I created a MVP prototype using Expo Go. I incorporated the basic functionalities without a back end. All existing buttons and pages are present and serve to give the user a overlook of the flow of the app.

I created this MVP to show coaches and athltes my idea in order to begin basic user testing. During my time at the Olympic Training Center I was able to present this app and gain feedback from top athltes and coaches.

This is the first iteration of this idea, check out Keikaku V2 for the second phase of development!
